On this month’s episode of Personal & Professional BEST, we are excited to welcome U.S. Olympic Gymnast Gabby Douglas for a conversation about her book Grace, Gold, and Glory, and what it takes to become your BEST.
Gabby Douglas was a member of the gold-winning US teams in the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the first woman of color of any nationality and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the Individual All-Around Champion (2012). She is also the first American gymnast to win gold in both the gymnastic individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympic games.
Gabby’s story is one of determination and perseverance. Throughout her career, she has overcome adversity in the pursuit of BEST and demonstrated what it takes to achieve greatness and win the Gold.
